After a successful 13 year career as a punter in the National Football League and also working in university athletics, John James followed his longtime passion for art and began painting full time. From landscape, to still life, to portraiture, John delights in the study of light and color. He has studied privately with renowned artists at schools including The Art Students League of New York and Santa Fe College.
